Elvi successfully completed her education at the Aveda Institute and, driven by her deep passion for connecting with clients in the salon chair and a desire to refine her skills while enjoying greater flexibility, she founded Shear Joy S.A.

San Antonio holds a special place in Elvi's heart, having been her home for almost two decades. With three kids scattered across Texas and the East Coast, she cherishes the vibrant lifestyle of SA, relishing in the abundant sunshine, delicious tacos, and refreshing margaritas that the city offers!
